Isa 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
PUBLISHING THE WORD
In 1969 I started going soul winning in Dr. Bob Gray’s ministry in Jax., FL. I love winning souls but in these last days it is rare enough to get someone to listen to the plan of salvation much less bow their head and pray. I truly believe we are in the last minutes before the King comes and we should all feel the urgency of publishing the Word and let the Lord accomplish that which He pleases”. My prayer is for God’s richest blessing to be bestowed upon all who both print and publish the Word of God as well as all those who pass those tracts out.

Earlier this year, after 6 years of pursuing this opening, I was invited to preach to 151 soldiers on ONE of the bases here. We were able to give each one a military edition of the King James Bible along with a Chick tract and a tract I wrote and Pastor Mike Veach, pastor of 1st Bible church of Staten Island, NY.

The Bibles were printed and given by Victory Baptist Press in Milton, Fl. Thanks to these ministries and God’s richest blessings upon them. I preached in English and then a local preacher, Pastor Jeru Medel, preached in the native tongue. All of these soldiers certainly had a golden opportunity of obtaining eternal life. We have two fairly large military bases in our city…pray more will open. It is tricky to get permission for a foreigner to get to preach on a foreign military base.

Yesterday our ministry published the Word of God at a local college during lunch time. It was difficult for the 12 of us to keep up with the pedestrian traffic and most gladly took the tracts. If you like passing tracts you need to visit us in PI here and experience this at least once in your brief lifetime. I regularly hear from friends in big cities around the world where they spent a couple hours TRYING hard to get 10 people to take the tracts. Our ministry got over a thousand in hands of all college students in an hour. We have 5 universities in our city…pray we can stay supplied.
Of course, we love it when a simple, in a good sense, 9-year-old kid named Sky bowed his head and prayed on his own after having a Chick tract explained to him. But the two text verses above are just as true as Rom. 10:13 and John 1:12. I preached to the soldiers and the college students that the greatest thing in the world to know is to know for sure when you die that you are going to heaven. If you are going to do something for the Lord like publishing His Word, you better hurry because there are no tracts in heaven to pass out at the intersections of the streets of gold.
Robin and I continue to enjoy great health and strength enough to fully function in our ministry. Praise the good Lord.
